This series of photos shows some of the military presence in the DMZ. The first pic is of a North Korean Observation Post (note the guard on the deck) and once again shows the barren hills of North Korea in the background. The 2nd photo shows a North Korean Guard and a security camera pointed at our group as we stood just a few feet from the 38th parallel. The 3rd photo shows one of the "good guys", a South Korean Guard, and in the picture above we are actually standing in North Korea (just across the 38th parallel). It was an uneasy feeling. Overall the trip was interesting but unsettling.
