On a recent trip to Korea's east coast we visited the city of Samcheok. On the way we saw some incredible hotels shaped like a cruiseliner and a pirate ship sitting atop a hill. They are apparently a popular attraction during the Korean summer.
Arriving at the train station in Samcheok there was a huge cement factory near the train station. Linda & I posed with President & Sister Cho and Elders Baird & Burt in front of the train at Samcheok and in the next shot we are pictured in front of the train station.
In the 5th photo we snapped a shot of a large group of Skates hanging on a drying rack in Samcheok. If it lives in the ocean, Koreans will eat it and Skates are apparently considered a great delicacy.
The final shot shows a mother and her son looking over a map of the coast.
