These are some recent shots that we took in Seoul. With the exception of "our own grandchildren" (of course) we think that Korean children are the cutest kids we have ever seen. These three future "Korean Olympians" are brothers and were on their way to their big brothers Tae Kwon Do practice when Darrel snapped this shot (with their mom's permission, of course).
In the 2nd photo Linda (ever shy about meeting and conversing with new friends) shares a good book with another pedestrian near the Peforming Arts Center.
In the 3rd picture Korea's famous Admiral Yi is flanked by a Fall scene mounted on the side of a Gwanghwamun high rise. Admiral Yi Soon-shin was a Korean naval leader who designed an armor-plated war ship (look below and in front of him in the photo) that was instrumental in several victories against the Japanese Navy when Japan attempted to invade Korea from 1592-1598.
In the 4th photo we captured proof that there are a few Christmas lights on buildings here in Seoul. It seems like a small thing but for us it is wonderful to see Christmas lights.
