The mountain streams in the Taebeck area are very cold crystal clear. Part way through our hike we used a dipper hanging on a cord near the stream to take a long cool drink...wow!!
The top picture and the video show the source of Korea's Han River. It bubbles as a spring out of the side of a mountain near Taebeck. By the time the Han reaches Seoul it is nearly as wide as the Columbia.
