Having grown up digging razor clams on the beaches of western Washington, Darrel loves the beach. This series of pics shows him successfully pursuing an Asian Razor Clam. Yep..thats a full grown one!! They are about 1/10th the size of a respectable northwest razor clam and long and slender. Koreans don't dig clams like we do and the forked trowel they provided for us made digging them difficult. Darrel was about the only one in our group who got any "razors" as most folks picked up mud shrimp, steamers or other "dainty delicacies" that we were assured were delicious.
