This is the Church-provided water filtration system in our apartment. The water in Seoul has apparently become much safer in the last few years but all church facilities, including all missionary apartments, have these filtration systems. The three filters in the cylinders must be changed on a regular basis. We wash all produce, brush our teeth and drink only filtered water.
It is all part of the Church's effort to keep us healthy.
