There are thousands of people thronging Namdaemun Market at all times. It doesn't seem to matter what time of year it is or what the weather is like. We go frequently and we still have only seen a fraction of it. It is a literal maze and bargaining is the name of the game.

These photos show the entrance and a typical scene inside the market and were taken on a hot, sticky June day. Obviously, that didn't slow the action in any way! This really is a fun place and is only about 15 minutes by bus from where we live.
