This is a typical scene near our neighborhood whenever there is the possibity of a protest of some sort. These are police busses and literally dozens and dozens of them line the roads when there is an anticipated problem. They spew forth "hundreds" of police officers (mostly 19-21 year olds doing their mandatory 2 years of service). The American Embassy warns us to stay away from riots. Too high a probabilty of incurring the wrath of protestors if they judge us to be Americans.
